Real Madrid are making it crystal clear that they are going all in for the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
In fact, according to a report from MARCA, each player in the squad stands to receive a massive €1 million gross bonus if they lift the trophy on July 13 in New Jersey, signalling just how seriously the club is treating this revamped international competition.
Following a season in which Los Blancos missed out on what are traditionally seen as the major titles, the Club World Cup has emerged as a crucial objective to close the campaign with a statement of global dominance.
The FIFA tournament, which kicks off on June 14 in the United States, has now become a top priority for both the club hierarchy and the players.
Three factors underline this shift in focus, and the most compelling of them is the enormous bonus being offered.

The agreed €1 million bonus per player matches the reward for winning the Champions League, a clear indication of the value Florentino Perez and the club’s executives place on the title.
The agreement came after direct negotiations between the squad and the president, further reinforcing the trust and unity within the dressing room.
So far this season, Real Madrid players have already pocketed nearly €500,000 in bonuses, thanks to a mix of achievements: two titles, a second-place finish in La Liga, a Copa del Rey final appearance, and reaching the Champions League quarterfinals.
But all of that pales in comparison to what’s at stake in the United States, as beyond the player incentives, the financial windfall for the club is substantial.
The tournament’s starting participation reward of $38 million (approximately €35 million) is already significant, but reaching the semi-finals could push total earnings to nearly €100 million.
A tournament win, however, would take that figure to an astonishing €135 million, a boost that would arrive at the perfect time as Real Madrid prepare for a major summer of investment and squad restructuring.
