Hugo Guillamón is set to leave Hajduk Split in the coming weeks, seeking a fresh move after an up and down season in Croatia.

According to Superdeporte, sporting director Robert Graf has indicated the club are open to his departure in this window. Guillamón has begun pre-season with team-mates, but the plan is for him to find an offer that suits him and continue his career away from Split.

The Valencian enjoyed strong spells in midfield, dictating play and adding depth, but his influence faded late in the campaign and he could not maintain his best level.

He broke through at Valencia as a midfielder and became a senior Spain international. Since then he has struggled to settle, still searching for the version of himself that once seemed within reach.

This summer he will look again for the right environment to rediscover that player.
