Hugo Oliveira ‘to become’ Strasbourg coach? | OneFootball

Strasbourg are seeking Gary O'Neil's successor and could confirm their choice in the coming hours.

Kjetil Knutsen appears out of the running, with Wilfried Nancy still under consideration, and a third candidate has emerged. A Bola reports that Hugo Oliveira, 47, is well placed to become Strasbourg's new coach.

The Famalicao coach is under contract until 2028 and would cost around four million euros, the value of his release clause.

Oliveira previously worked as Marcos Silva's assistant at Fulham, Everton, Watford and Hull City.

Famalicao finished fifth in the Portuguese league.
