Hull City have been promoted to the Premier League after an incredibly dramatic injury-time victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley.Â

After an unprecedented situation which saw Southampton kicked out of the playoffs and 'Boro reinstated following "Spygate", as well as Tigers' owner Acun Ilicali threatening legal action if his side did not win, the game was a huge let down.Â
As tends to be the case in playoff finals, it was edgy throughout with few chances at either end. Extra-time loomed large until Oli McBurnie struck in the fifth minute of added time to give a remarkable few weeks one final bit of drama.Â
In truth, it was a big error from 'Boro goalkeeper Sol Brynn, who fumbled Yu Hirakawa's cross into the path of McBurnie. He made no mistake for his 19th of a brilliant season to spark wild celebrations both on the pitch and in the stands.Â
The Tigers held out for the remaining minutes to seal their return to the Premier League after nine years away from the top-flight.Â
