Hull City face Millwall in the Championship on Saturday, 7 March 2026 in Hull, with fourth playing fifth and both aiming to firm up their play-off grip.
Hull City won the reverse fixture 3-1 away in December. The visitors arrive two points ahead before kick-off, setting up a tight meeting between near neighbours in the table.
Recent momentum is mixed for Hull, who beat Derby County 4-2 and won 1-0 at Portsmouth either side of defeats to Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town. The Lions have four wins in five, overcoming Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham City and Preston.
Hull are without Matt Crooks (suspended), plus injured Amir Hadziahmetovic, Lewie Coyle, Akin Famewo, Ryan Giles, Matty Jacobs, Darko Gyabi and Yu Hirakawa. The Lions list Massimo Luongo, Joe Bryan, Lukas Jensen, Caleb Taylor, Benicio Baker-Boaitey and Daniel Kelly as injured.
Hull have scored 56 league goals at 1.6 per game, with most finishes from inside the box, and carry threats in Oliver McBurnie (13 league goals) and Joe Gelhardt (11). The Lions boast 14 clean sheets, win plenty in the air, and deliver a high volume of open-play crosses, with Femi Azeez on eight league goals.
A home win would take Hull to 63 points and could move them above the Lions in the play-off pack. Victory for the Lions would lift them to 65 points and strengthen their hold on a top-six berth.
