Chelsea legend John Terry has stated he wants to see more from Liam Rosenior in the coming weeks and a difference between his team and Enzo Maresca’s.

Rosenior replaced Enzo Maresca as head coach earlier this month, and penned a six and a half year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 41-year-old has overseen three wins from his first four games in charge, with Chelsea currently sixth in the Premier League.

John Terry shares honest opinion on Liam Rosenior

Rosenior hasn’t had much time to work on the training ground given Chelsea have been playing so regularly, so the team doesn’t look much different to what was seen under Maresca

Despite winning the previous two games against Brentford and Pafos, Chelsea didn’t perform well in either game, and Terry has stated he wants to see more from Rosenior’s team.

“To be honest, I’ve not seen much change since Liam’s come in as manager, but also, in his defence, he’s not had much time to work with the players as well,” he said on TikTok.

“But result against Pafos in the week, not our best performance, not our best performance against Brentford, but we managed to win the last two games as well, which is always important.

“And also winning these games when you’re not playing at your best as well and then knowing that there’s still more to come.

“So I want to see a little bit of change from Maresca’s team to Liam’s team in the next few weeks when he does get a bit more time to work with a group.

“But the most important thing at the moment, especially in the London derby, is to pick up the three points.”

Chelsea face tough Crystal Palace test

Chelsea head to Selhurst Park on Sunday to take on Crystal Palace in what will be a tough game, despite the Eagles being winless in their last ten games in all competitions.

The Blues are unbeaten on their last three trips to Palace, and will be hoping to extend that record this weekend.

Chelsea are hopeful Cole Palmer will be fit after missing the win against Pafos, whilst everyone else should be available other than long term absentees Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo.
