‘I will give my all’ – Barcelona youngster vows to seize every chance he gets this season | OneFootball

Hansi Flick had to make several changes to his starting lineup as he led his team for the match against Valencia in La Liga. However, despite some notable absences, FC Barcelona were able to get the full three points with a memorable 6-0 win over the visitors.

One player who got the chance to get a start in the absence of one of the injured players was Marc Casado, who replaced Frenkie de Jong to play alongside Pedri in the midfield.

The Spaniard put in an impressive shift in this game, and as SPORT has reported, also talked about the win and his performance after the end of the match. The midfielder highlighted how his team knew how to take advantage of the opponent:

“Today, the team came out with clear ideas. We knew we had to take the three points, and we knew how to move the opponent.”

Casado also highlighted that the team has moved on from the stumble they faced at Vallecas:

“We were able to play our game and reconnect with the fans this season.”

The Spaniard went on to highlight that not playing at Camp Nou or Montjuic did not make much of a difference to him:

“For me, every match is important. Defending these colors always is, no matter what the game.”

Lastly, the Barcelona midfielder went on to restate his commitment to continue giving his all for the team:

“I will give my all in every opportunity I get and make the most of every minute on the pitch.”

It is difficult to see Casado retaining his starting role once Frenkie de Jong returns, but with performances like the one he put up against Valencia, he would make it very difficult for Hansi Flick to pick one of these midfielders for a starting spot.
