Ibrahim Cissé on his way to Sweden

Ibrahim Cissé, 27, is on the verge of joining AIK. The Ivorian centre-back, a free agent since leaving KuPS in Finland, has already arrived and is expected to undergo his medical this Tuesday before being officially unveiled.

During his three seasons with KuPS, Cissé established himself as a defensive linchpin in Finland and notably scored against Crystal Palace in the UEFA Europa Conference League. With previous spells in France, he has worn the shirts of OGC Nice and AS Nancy. AIK is now set to welcome an experienced player who can provide real strength to their central defence.
