West Ham United should look at replacing Crysencio Summerville with an Egypt World Cup star
West Ham United are increasingly likely to lose the services of winger Crysencio Summerville in the summer transfer window, and will need to find an adequate replacement for the talented 24-year-old.
Summerville notched five goals and two assists in the Premier League last term, but his efforts weren't enough to keep the Hammers in the top flight.
Boss Nuno Espirito Santo is vying to guide the East Londoners to an immediate Premier League return, and he is set to oversee several changes to his squad this summer.
Star man Jarrod Bowen has also attracted external admirers in the transfer market, and will have to leave the London Stadium to remain in the top flight.
However, Bowen is more likely to stay at West Ham than Summerville, thanks to his family ties to the East London outfit.

Summerville reminded transfer suitors of his impressive ability by scoring for the Netherlands in their 2-2 draw with Japan in the World Cup on Sunday.
According to The Athletic, Manchester United are among the clubs paying 'serious attention' to the West Ham winger, and know it will cost around £50million to land his services.
Summerville is under contract at the London Stadium until June 2029, which will enable the Hammers to hold out for a handsome transfer fee.
Amid the increasing interest in the Netherlands international, West Ham should consider Egypt star Emam Ashour as a replacement, following his excellent display against Belgium.
The Al Ahly man fired past Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the first half to earn Hossam Hassan's side a 1-1 draw with Rudi Garcia's men in their opening World Cup game on Monday.
Ashour will hope to help Egypt beat New Zealand in their second game.
For now, the 28-year-old can be proud of his excellent performance against Belgium, as he won the player of the match award ahead of top-class talents including teammate Mo Salah and former Manchester City ace Kevin De Bruyne.
Alongside his goal, Ashour caused constant problems for Thomas Meunier, suggesting he could be a real threat in the Championship next term, should West Ham, or another second-tier club, land his signature.
Furthermore, the left-winger worked hard to track back and help full-back Ahmed Abou El Fotouh extinguish the danger posed by Belgium's Leandro Trossard.
Despite Ashour's World Cup exploits, top-flight European clubs may be put off by the fact that the 28-year-old failed to make a big impression with Danish side Midtjylland, making just seven appearances for them in 2023 before returning to Egypt to sign for Al Ahly.
Therefore, the door should be open for West Ham to sign the former Zamalek man, and they will need a new winger as and when Summerville departs.
Nuno sometimes utilises a 4-2-3-1 formation, as seen in their final day Premier League defeat to Leeds United, and Ashour could be perfect for a starting 11 place in the left-sided attacking role in that system, once the Dutchman leaves.
Furthermore, the Al Ahly man has played in a more central role at club level, suggesting he can also play in Espirito Santo's double 'number 10' pivot behind the striker when wing-backs are utilised.
Ashour's direct dribbling style and impressive work ethic helped Egypt go toe-to-toe with Belgium, proving he could help West Ham dominate games in the Championship.

Ashour is reaping the rewards of his impressive Al Ahly displays over the last three seasons and has earned recognition on the international stage for his performance against Belgium.
The 28-year-old's current club are a prestigious outfit who have won 45 Egyptian top-flight titles and 12 African Champions Leagues, meaning it may take a lot to tempt him away from Cairo.
However, the fact that West Ham are vying for an immediate Premier League return should enthuse Ashour if the London Stadium club eye him as a Summerville replacement.
