Igor Thiago has been having the season of his life and today might just be the best day of his entire career. 

The striker was called up by Brazil for the very first time hours before Brentford kicked off against Wolves. 

He then celebrated by bagging his 19th goal of a brilliant Premier League season for both him and the Bees, who can go to within two points off the top five with a win tonight. 

It might just have been his easiest too as he tapped into an empty net after a brilliant long ball by Caoimhín Kelleher was collected by Dango Ouattara and played into the path of Thiago.

It also means the Brazilian is now just one goal off equalling Bryan Mbeumo and Ivan Toney's goal record in a top flight season for Brentford. 

With the World Cup less than three months away, could Thiago yet be Carlo Ancelotti's main man up top this summer?
