Igor Tudor has left his role as Tottenham Hotspur head coach by mutual agreement with immediate effect after a difficult six-week spell for the relegation-threatened club.

He replaced Thomas Frank on 13 February on a contract running to the end of the 2025/26 season. football.london understands Spurs aim to appoint a successor within the next couple of days so someone is in place when players return from international duty.

Goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and physical coach Riccardo Ragnacci have also departed. Bruno Saltor remains and is overseeing training at Hotspur Way.

Tudor’s only win came against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16 second leg. His final game was the defeat by Nottingham Forest before the international break. He was excused from media duties due to a family bereavement, so Saltor addressed reporters.

Igor Jesus headed Vitor Pereira’s side in front shortly before the interval. Morgan Gibbs-White doubled the lead on the hour from a Callum Hudson-Odoi cut-back. Late on, substitute Taiwo Awoniyi added a third.

The result left just a single point between Tottenham and West Ham in the relegation zone, with Forest up to 16th. Saltor said the team struggled with the rhythm and the weight of the game, adding that the players care but must cut out mistakes and focus on daily improvements to turn their form around.
