Iloski, Damiani power Philadelphia Union to first leg win over Defence Force | OneFootball

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continued with the Philadelphia Union earning a 5-nil win over Defence Force FC in the first leg of their Round One series on Wednesday at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Milan Iloski got the scoring started in the 29’, as he smashed a sensational free kick from outside of the box.

Ezekial Alladoh doubled the lead three minutes later when he knocked in a header off a cross from Frankie Westfield.

In the 64’, the Union extended its lead as Iloski whipped in a great corner kick to Olwethu Makhanya, who buried a header of his own.

Bruno Damiani added one for the MLS side in the 69’ as his shot from the edge of the box was deflected past the keeper.

Damiani recorded his brace in the 81’ after he converted a penalty kick following a VAR review. 

The two sides will meet for the second leg next Thursday at Subaru Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The winner on aggregate will advance to the Round of 16.
