The Magpies head to Marseille on Tuesday, 25th November for a 9pm kick-off (local time). UK Kick-off time is 8pm.
KEY INFORMATION REGARDING SAFETY IN MARSEILLE
MATCHDAY MANDATORY FAN MEETING POINT IN MARSEILLE
The only place supporters can gather is at the mandatory fan meeting point at Place de la Joliette. This requirement has been put in place by local authorities and the police in Marseille.
Place de la Joliette - Fans can gather here from 11.00am onwards on Tuesday 25 November. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the vicinity of this area. Supporters will be allowed to drink at Place de la Joliette, whilst a DJ will be present at the meeting point. There will be ample toilets in this location.
Mandatory transport to the Stade Velodrome will leave from this location and supporters MUST be in this location for 16.30. There will be no exceptions for any supporters making their way to the stadium.

Please note; only small battery packs (smaller than a mobile phone) will be permitted into the stadium.
Please note there is no luggage storage available at the stadium.
FLAG POLICY AT THE STADE VELODROME
Supporters can bring their own flags to the stadium, but they must have a fire safety certificate and must not have any offensive, political or discriminatory words or images on them. These will be checked on entry to the stadium. Flags must not be on flagpoles.
Please do not hang flags up in the city of Marseille or at Place de la Joliette.
FOLLOWING THE GAME
Supporters will be held back within the stadium after the final whistle for safety reasons. This will be for at least 40 minutes. Access to toilets and concessions from kiosks will be available during this time.
Supporters will then be escorted in groups of 500 to the metro station and placed on metros back to Place de la Joliette. Please note, due to the number of tickets sold this process could take up to two hours to complete. Supporters are asked to remain patient throughout this time.
All supporters MUST travel back to Place de la Joliette, there will be no stops on the metro journey and supporters will not be allowed to leave the stadium by other means.
It is advised that if you have accommodation in close proximity to the stadium that you seek to book alternative accommodation, if possible, closer to Place de la Joliette.
INFORMATION FOR DISABLED SUPPORTERS
There will be a member of the Newcastle United Accessibility and Stewarding team on hand to support and assist all wheelchair users arriving at the away section entrance. Wheelchair spaces are located on a designated platform within the visitors’ section. Please note that some PA seats are in a row directly in front of the designated platform.
There is no storage available for wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility support equipment and there is no lift access to the upper tier of the away section.
There is audio-descriptive commentary service provided by the home club for this fixture but please note this is in French only. If you require this, please contact accessibility@nufc.co.uk by Wednesday 19th November 2025.
There is one male and one female accessible toilet.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS AND VIEWING PLATFORM
All wheelchair accessible tickets are located inside the away section. The entry process will be the same as outlined above and through the away section entrance.
There is a designated wheelchair entrance at the away section turnstiles, Newcastle United staff will be there to support.
There are accessible toilets in close proximity to the wheelchair viewing area. Please note that these toilets do not have a hoist. The wheelchair viewing area is covered and not impacted by weather.

Supporters are unable to attend the youth league fixture due to the requirement to be at the Meeting Point no later than 16.30.
