Palmeiras head into another Libertadores assignment with Allan firmly in the spotlight, the academy graduate now a mainstay in the first team.

According to Nosso Palestra, in 2026 he has featured in 22 of the 23 matches, matching Marlon Freitas and Flaco López, and his four goals make him the club’s third top scorer behind López with nine and Vitor Roque with six.

His recent Dérbi display underlined the surge, influential in build-up play and relentless without the ball, which has kept him among the starters.

The step forward is clear when set against 2025, when he played 54 times and scored three. This season, after only 23 games, he has already moved past that total with four.

Allan has also set a personal target, shaped in conversation with Raphael Veiga, to reach at least 10 goals this year.

On Thursday 16, at 19:00 Brasília time, Palmeiras host Sporting Cristal at Allianz Parque in the Libertadores group stage, and Allan is expected to retain his place.
