In-form Garro eyes career-best numbers in Corinthians’ second half | OneFootball

Rodrigo Garro is enjoying a fine 2026 at Corinthians. The Argentine is back as a starter under Fernando Diniz, with 11 assists and two goals in 33 appearances.

According to Globo.com, the number eight now heads into the second half of the year aiming to surpass his career bests.

His most prolific year so far came in 2024, his first at Corinthians, when he scored 13 and supplied 14 in 62 games.

The following season was hampered by injuries and the team’s instability, yielding only two goals and seven assists.

Before that, his standout campaign was 2023 with Talleres in Argentina, when he contributed to 17 goals, scoring eight and delivering nine across 44 matches.

The squad are due to report back at CT Joaquim Grava on 25 June.
