In Ibiúna, under-15s and under-17s thrash rivals in Paulista

São Paulo’s U-15 and U-17 teams thrashed Clube Vital this Saturday (1st) at Serra da Colina Stadium in Ibiúna in the Paulista Championship. The younger side won 5-1, with goals from Lucas Antunes (2), Yahgo, Lucas Jorge and Gilbert. The older side then cruised to a 7-0 victory, with goals from Gabriel (2), Nicolas Francisco (2), Erick, Mikael and Raphael França.

Already qualified for the next round, the U-15 side reached 31 points, maintaining both first place and their unbeaten run in Group 10.

The Made In Cotia youngsters applied pressure from the very start and quickly built a lead with two goals from Lucas Antunes. The first was a beautiful volley, in fact. In the second half, Yahgo scored after a perfectly placed cross. Lucas Jorge and Gilbert completed the rout.

The U-17 side also had an excellent first half and found the net five times before the break. Gabriel opened the scoring with a fine strike from outside the box. Next, Erick and Mikael scored through individual plays. Raphael França took advantage of a cross to make it four, and Nicolas Francisco scored the fifth after receiving the ball unmarked inside the area and finishing past the goalkeeper. In the second half, Gabriel and Nicolas got on the scoresheet again.

With the big win, São Paulo’s U-17 side moved to 26 points and has also already secured, in advance, a place in the next round.
