‘In our hands with three games to go’ – Trossard says focus must immediately switch back to Premier League title run in | OneFootball

Leandro Trossard has urged his Arsenal team-mates to quickly re-focus on their task of winning the Premier League.

Trossard helped his side to reach the Champions League final on Tuesday with a 1-0 second-leg win and 2-1 aggregate win over Atletico Madrid.

But the attention now turns back to the Premier League title race, with Arsenal knowing three more wins will secure the club’s first Premier League title since 2004.

 “It’s in our hands and we have three games to go,” Trossard said. “It’s a good thing to have.

“I don’t think we are thinking about that (making history) too much at the moment. We just want to win the Premier League and then we have a big final ahead. We have three important games in the Premier League and we know what we’re playing for.

“We have belief already from the very first moment but obviously you can see how tough it is in the Premier League so we need to be up for it again. As I said, we have to celebrate today but from tomorrow our focus shifts towards Sunday again.”

Trossard says the added experience of last season and more strength in depth has helped Arsenal to kick on this season.

“It’s hard to say, but I think experience as well. Every year, you get more experience. You know how to handle situations,” he said.

“I think also with the bigger squad, you have so much quality within the squad. Everyone is contributing.”
