While Real Madrid found the back of the net thanks to Kylian Mbappé in the 30th minute, the equalizer came just six minutes later, with Andreas getting his name on the scoresheet. In the dying moments of the first half, Benfica were awarded a penalty at 45+5. Pavlidis stepped up and converted.
