Barcelona are going all in for their Champions League comeback, and even unavailable players are playing a role ahead of the decisive clash with Atletico Madrid.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Raphinha is expected to travel to Madrid to be with the squad, despite being ruled out through injury.

The Brazilian winger is still recovering from a right hamstring problem suffered during the international break, but will be present to support his teammates from close quarters.

This move is part of a plan led by Hansi Flick, who is prioritising unity and collective spirit ahead of the second leg.

The Barcelona coach wants the entire group involved, including injured and suspended players, to strengthen the dressing room mentality for what is one of the biggest matches of the season.

Even though he will not be available for selection, his involvement around the squad is expected to boost morale as Barcelona attempt to overturn the 0-2 deficit from the first leg.

Furthermore, he is not the only one making the trip, as Pau Cubarsi, who is suspended following his red card in the first leg, has also travelled to Madrid.

Like Raphinha, his role will be to support the group and maintain a strong sense of togetherness within the squad.

Barcelona understand the scale of the challenge at the Metropolitano.

Facing an organised and confident Atletico side, Flick’s men will need both tactical execution and mental strength to pull off the comeback.

With a place in the Champions League semi-finals on the line, Barcelona are leaving nothing to chance, ensuring every possible edge, even emotional, is in their favour.
