After a disappointing draw with Real Betis over the weekend, Barcelona will look to regain their winning momentum as they take on Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
This will be the first of the two-legged quarterfinal clash, with Barça heading into this game as the clear favourites owing to their form in Europe this season.
However, Hansi Flick faces a complex tactical challenge as he looks to approach Dortmund without the services of a key operator: Dani Olmo.
The Spanish international is one of the few players in the Barcelona team who can operate effortlessly in tight spaces and, therefore, be an ideal weapon for the team should Dortmund opt for a deep defensive line.
To that end, a recent report from MARCA has offered an update on the fitness of Olmo, who has struggled with injuries this season.

While the report does confirm that Olmo will not take part in the first leg encounter on Wednesday, there is a lot of optimism at Barça surrounding his availability in the second leg.
In fact, the report goes on to suggest Olmo will be fit in time to face the Black and Yellows at Signal Iduna Park later in the month.
This is because Olmo’s recovery process is going very well, and the player might soon return to the fold for Hansi Flick.
There is even a chance for Olmo to be included in the Barcelona squad that will take on Leganes for their next league game.
But the club will likely proceed with caution and give Olmo some more time to recover, ideally before the second leg tie against Dortmund, which will be played on April 15.
