Dorival Júnior continued to implement tactical changes at Corinthians as the squad intensified preparations for the season's restart, according to Globo. On Friday morning at CT Joaquim Grava, the head coach gathered his players for a briefing before taking them through a sequence of training exercises focused on transitions and structured team play.

After initial warm-ups, the squad was split for drills aimed at improving both offensive and defensive transitions. These were followed by a collective exercise designed to fine-tune tactical organization, emphasizing Dorival’s approach of sharpening the team’s collective structure for upcoming matches. Players then took part in a small-sided game on a reduced pitch, designed to encourage quick thinking and compact play, before concluding the day's session.

Corinthians are gearing up for their return to competitive action on July 13, when they host Red Bull Bragantino at Neo Química Arena in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The upcoming fixture comes at a crucial juncture as the team looks to find greater consistency in the league.

Dorival’s close attention to detail in training reflects his intent to address recent shortcomings in execution, particularly during match transitions and defensive organization. His ongoing adjustments are seen as an effort to instill clearer roles and responsibilities within the squad, especially with several pivotal fixtures on the horizon, including a Copa do Brasil clash where the fitness and availability of striker Yuri Alberto remains a point of focus for the technical staff.

The training also included Memphis, who took part in the adapted tactical drills at CT Joaquim Grava, suggesting continued experimentations with the squad framework.

Corinthians are expected to resume training on Saturday, maintaining the rhythm as preparations continue for their next league test and beyond.
