OM, OL, Monaco, Lens, Rennes, Strasbourg, Lille, Nice and Paris FC are assessed for wage policy, contract dynamics and leading earners.

Nantes, Lorient, Brest, Toulouse, Auxerre, Metz, Le Havre and Angers follow, with Ligue 2 also covered.

Across Europe, the dossier notes that in La Liga, Vinícius could soon out-earn Mbappé, Lamine Yamal sits outside the top five, and the Casemiro case stands out at Manchester United.

In the Bundesliga even Bayern are on a diet, while Serie A places French players outside the top five.

Referees’ salaries are compared with neighbours and feature calls for pay rises, and the Arkema Première Ligue section lists a top 10, rising remuneration and growing brand deals for D1 féminine stars.
