Real Madrid signed Jude Bellingham two years ago, and now in 2025, they could be set to bring his younger brother to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Jobe Bellingham has been plying his trade at Sunderland since the same summer that his brother joined Los Blancos, and next weekend, he could help his side reach the Premier League. But he may not get the chance to play there, as he is being linked with a move away during the upcoming transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund are believed to be favourites for Jobe, but according to Christian Falk, Real Madrid are in the race.
“Dortmund think they can sign Jobe Bellingham this summer. Dortmund believe that they have the best cards in the poker for Jobe Bellingham. That’s despite the interest of Real Madrid. The Spanish giants also recognise the huge potential of Jude Bellingham’s brother. BVB hope that a visit from coach Niko Kovac, Lars Ricken (head of sport) and Sebastian Kehl (sports director) will have shown the Bellingham family that Dortmund is the right next step for Jude’s younger brother’s career.

“Certainly, Jude’s development in Dortmund is proof of this. Should BVB make it into the Champions League, the Bundesliga giants would not only have the money necessary to finance the €25m, but also the sporting argument to back up their case. Dortmund will know at the weekend if they’re playing Champions League football next season. They will have to win by two goals if Freiburg beat Frankfurt in their decider.”
Jobe has actually been on Real Madrid’s radar for a while, as reports in 2024 claimed that a move could have been made last summer. It remains to be seen whether a deal is sought in 2025, but for now, it does not appear to be overly likely.
