It could only be Inter. A stunning comeback saw the Nerazzurri claim all three points against Napoli on Matchday 3 of Serie A. The remarkable 3-2 victory was completed in the closing stages after the visitors had raced into a 2-0 lead through quickfire goals from Politano (50') and Hojlund (53'). Inter's response was emphatic. Chivu's side, having laid siege to the Napoli defence throughout the match with 29 shots and two efforts off the woodwork, wasted no time in dragging themselves back into the contest.

Lautaro gave Inter a lifeline in the 56th minute, turning in Dimarco’s assist, before Thuram rose to head home Carlos Augusto’s delivery for 2-2 in the 82nd. The game then descended into chaos, with clear-cut chances at both ends. Napoli went agonisingly close through Anguissa, only for Inter to strike at the other end. Lautaro was the hero again in the 91st minute, sending San Siro into delirium.
