Inter Miami loan Tomás Avilés to O’Higgins for rest of 2026 season | OneFootball

Inter Miami said in a statement that defender Tomás Avilés has joined Chilean first division side O’Higgins on loan for the remainder of the 2026 season.

The move is pending delivery of his International Transfer Certificate, and he will not occupy a U22 Initiative Spot while on loan.

Avilés, 22, joined Inter Miami in August 2023.

He has made 87 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.

He was an important figure in the club winning the inaugural Leagues Cup in 2023, the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield with a record-breaking 74 points in the regular season, and the historic 2025 MLS Cup.
