Tomorrow evening, Inter will return to action in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri will face RB Leipzig.

On paper, Inter are certainly the favourites for tomorrow’s match. They have yet to lose a match or concede a goal in the Champions League this season. Leipzig, on the other hand, have lost all four of theirs.

But Inter will know full well that that does not tell the full story.

Particularly considering that Leipzig are currently third in the table in the Bundesliga.

Inter coach Inzaghi is ready to rotate his squad significantly. There are expected to be quite a few changes to the team that started against Hellas Verona over the weekend.

That could mean a start for midfielder Davide Frattesi. However, the Inter coach admits, there could also be fitness concerns around the 25-year-old.

Inter Coach Inzaghi: “Decision Tomorrow” On Whether Davide Frattesi Fit Vs RB Leipzig

Inter coach Inzaghi noted that “I have a whole squad, and as always I want to have as many players available as possible.”

“Tomorrow we won’t have Acerbi available,” the Nerazzurri coach noted.

He then stated that “Frattesi had an issue in training yesterday, and we don’t know whether he’ll be available.”

“We’ll see tomorrow,” Inzaghi said.

The Inter coach commented that “I have to make decisions every match, and I always do so for the good of the team.”

Meanwhile, Inzaghi was also positive about the availability of Hakan Calhanoglu and Lautaro Martinez. “Both looked good in training today,” he said.

“Calha had already wanted to be part of the squad that travelled to Verona on Saturday,” he added.

“We kept him out to give him some rest as a precaution,” Inzaghi noted.

“He’s done well in training in the last few days. We’re confident.”

“Ditto for Lautaro,” the Inter coach added. “He’s recovered from the fever he had, so if he’s feeling well tomorrow he’ll play.”

And Inzaghi then noted that striker Mehdi Taremi is “doing well in training.

“We know that we have a lot of options in attack, fortunately,” the Inter coach continued.

“He has the complete trust from me and from the whole club and his teammates,” Inzaghi said of the Iranian international.

“He has to keep working the way he’s been doing up to this point.”

“As far as tomorrow I’m evaluating whether to start him or not,” the Inter coach said. “But I’m satisfied with him, because he does well in training every day.”
