Inter Milan Have Funds Available To Move For Real Madrid’s Turkiye Star | OneFootball

Inter Milan are continuing to track Turkiye international attacking midfielder Arda Guler and now have the funds to make a move for him in the summer.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Quotidiano Sportivo, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, the Nerazzurri remain interested in Guler despite his move to Real Madrid in 2023.

Indeed, Inter had hoped to beat interest from Los Merengues to sign him from Fenerbahce two years ago, but due to the financial constraints on former owners Suning Group they could not compete.

However, with the club’s financial health looking much rosier, the management team now have funds available and there is a possibility that these could be used to bring the 20-year-old in from Real Madrid.

Inter may also benefit from the presence of Turkish star Hakan Calhanoglu at the club, with the midfielder keen to praise Guler and advising him to find more first team opportunities.

“Arda is a very important player and a brother who I love very much. Of course I would like him to come and play for Inter,” Calhanoglu said in a post-match press conference following a 3-1 win over Hungary on Thursday.

“Everyone wants quality players like him, but I don’t know what his situation is. That’s why I don’t want to be involved, after all he knows what my advice is.

“He must play more, he deserves it. I hope he comes to us, even if I don’t know yet if it’s true or false.”

Guler has made 43 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring nine goals.
