Inter Milan are hoping to seal a deal to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman with an improved offer next week.
This according to Italian transfer reporter Nicolo Schira. He reports in a tweet that the Nerazzurri’s bid will be worth around €45 million plus add-ons.
Inter Milan are pushing to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian international is their top target in attack this summer.
The Nerazzurri have already made an offer to Atalanta for Lookman.
La Dea have rejected the initial bid, which Inter have not yet increased. However, the player himself reportedly wants to join.
Expected a meeting next week between #Inter and #Atalanta for Ademola #Lookman, who has an agreement with Inter and pushing to leave. Ready €45M as revealed last Monday and in the deal could also be included some bonues to satisfy Atalanta to try to reach a deal. #transfers https://t.co/0o4BXWfe0l — Nicolò Schira (@NicoSchira) July 25, 2025
Widespread reports indicate that Inter’s first offer to Atalanta was for €40 million.
Atalanta, on the other hand, are reportedly holding out for around €50 million.

Atalanta’s rejection of Inter’s opening bid has not deterred the Nerazzurri, however.
Inter feel that they can increase their offer to La Dea’s liking. Not necessarily reaching the full €50 million, but inching up by a few million.
Italian transfer reporter Nicolo Schira anticipates an increase to around €45 million.
Furthermore, Schira reports, add-ons could be a crucial aspect of the deal.
