Marcus Thuram could make his first Serie A start since mid-September in the upcoming showdown between Inter and AC Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Frenchman is the frontrunner to partner up with Lautaro Martinez in attack.
It’s been over 40 days since the 28-year-old last started a match in Serie A.
Indeed, Marcus Thuram slumped to a hamstring injury during Inter’s 3-0 rout of Slavia Prague in late September.
However, he returned to the pitch last week, making back-to-back cameo appearances against Kairat Almaty and Lazio.

Despite regaining full fitness, the former Borussia Monchengladbach star has stayed at Appiano Gentile during the international break.
Indeed, Didier Deschamps has left him out of his French squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Therefore, Thuram has plenty of time to rediscover his rhythm following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu has yet to decide whether to put Francesco Acerbi in the starting lineup.
