The last friendly before the official start of the 2025/26 season will take place on Saturday, 16 August at 20:30 CEST against Olympiacos, the reigning champions of Greece. The Nerazzurri will close out their pre-season with a match to be played at the Stadio San Nicola di Bari.

INTER'S PRE-SEASON

In their opening in-house game, Chivu's side beat Inter U23 7-2 thanks to goals from Bonny, Asllani, Lautaro, Esposito, Luis Henrique, Calhanoglu, and an own goal from Kamate. They also came out with a positive result in their second summer friendly against Monaco, the Nerazzurri turned the match around despite being down to ten men, with goals from Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny to secure the 2–1 victory.

In their third test, away against Monza at the U-Power Stadium, the Nerazurri won on penalties after a 2-2 draw at the end of 90 minutes, with an own goal from Birindelli that equalised Ciurria's opener. Pio Esposito struck with a back heel to put Inter ahead, before Azzi equalised late, leading to the penalty shootout, which Inter won.

The final game before their official league debut is against Olympiacos, their fourth pre-season outing before kicking off the 2025/26 league campaign against Torino.

Inter's final opponent of the summer is Olympiacos: the Greek side will begin their official fixtures on Saturday, 23 August, with a home fixture against Asteras Tripolis. During pre-season, Mendilibar's team remain unbeaten and, before facing the Nerazzurri, will play one more friendly against Napoli. The Greek side kicked off their pre-season with a 3-2 victory against NAC Breda, followed by a 3-0 win over Norwich, a 2-0 win over l'Alkmaar, a 1-1 draw with Heerenveen, a 3-2 victory against Den Haag, a 2-1 win over Al Taawoun, and a narrow victory over Union Berlino.
