International Magpies: Mills and Dowell start in England Under-17s win

Forward Mills and goalkeeper Dowell have been named in the England Under-17s squad ahead of European Under-17 Championship fixtures against Faroe Islands, Israel and Estonia.
Liam Bramley's side, unable to reach this summer's finals in Estonia after their results in November's first qualifying round matches, claimed a 3-0 win against the Faroe Islands at St. George's Park on Wednesday, with Mills making his full debut at under-17 level.
Mills played the opening 65 minutes while Dowell, who hails from Hebburn, recorded his first international clean sheet after gaining two caps at under-17 level earlier this season.
The Young Lions face Israel on Saturday 28 March before concluding their camp three days later against Estonia, with both games taking place at St. George's Park (kick-off 2pm).
Mills, who signed his first professional contract with Newcastle on his 17th birthday, scored on his full debut for England Under-16s while Dowell, who hails from Hebburn, made his Under-17s debut in September 2025.
Neave, who made his professional debut for his boyhood club in January's 6-1 away win against Qarabağ FK in the UEFA Champions League, was named in the England Under-19s squad as the Young Lions bid to qualify for this summer's European Under-19 Championship finals in Wales.
Will Antwi's side travelled to Portugal for three Elite Qualifying Round fixtures but began their campaign with a 2-0 loss against Serbia on Wednesday. Neave was an unused substitute.
England's youngsters, seeking top spot in Group 2 to gain qualification, face Poland on Saturday 28 March (kick-off 12pm local time) at Pista de Atletismo Gémeos Castro before facing Portugal three days later at the Estádio Amélia Morais in Braga (kick-off 5pm local time).
Neave, who has scored 13 goals at under-21 level so far this season, has represented England at under-17 and under-18 level.
Finneran has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-19s squad for their 2027 European Under-19 Championship qualifying fixtures.
The central midfielder, who captained his country at last year's Under-17 World Cup finals in Qatar, scored on his international debut at under-19 level during a 1-1 draw against Poland on Wednesday as well as wearing the captain's armband for the clash in Glasgow.
Tom Mohan's teenagers meet Scotland on Saturday 28 March (kick-off 3:30pm GMT) before facing Italy on three days later (kick-off 7pm GMT), with the top three sides in each group advancing into Round 2 League A.
Epia, who joined the Magpies' Academy from Everton in the summer of 2024, has been named in the Poland Under-19s squad ahead of their 2027 European Under-19 Championship qualifying fixtures.
Poland were held to a 1-1 draw against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday but Epia, who signed his first professional contract with United last summer, was an unused substitute.
Epia could be in line for his international debut when Poland face Italy on Saturday 28 March before rounding off their Group A2 qualifying fixtures when facing Scotland on Tuesday 31 March (kick-off 7pm GMT).
The Asian teenager, who celebrated his 19th birthday on Tuesday, has been named in the South Korea Under-23s squad ahead of their friendly fixture against the United States.
The left winger, who joined the Magpies from Suwon Bluewings last summer, has been capped five times by his country at under-20 level.
