Neave, who made his professional debut for his boyhood club in January's 6-1 away win against Qarabağ FK in the UEFA Champions League, was named in the England Under-19s squad as the Young Lions bid to qualify for this summer's European Under-19 Championship finals.

Will Antwi's side travelled to Portugal for three Elite Qualifying Round fixtures but began their campaign with a 2-0 loss against Serbia on Wednesday. Neave was an unused substitute.

England's youngsters, seeking top spot in Group 2 to gain qualification, claimed a late 1-0 win against Poland on Saturday at Pista de Atletismo Gémeos Castro, with Neave making his Under-19s bow in the 80th minute before Shumaira Mheuka's late strike sealed maximum points.

The Young Lions recorded an emphatic 6-0 win against Portugal in Braga on Tuesday, with Neave an unused substitute, but were denied a place at this summer's finals in Wales as Serbia topped the group with a 1-0 victory against Poland.

Aaron Epia

Epia, who joined the Magpies' Academy from Everton in the summer of 2024, has been named in the Poland Under-19s squad ahead of their 2027 European Under-19 Championship qualifying fixtures.

Poland were held to a 1-1 draw against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday but Epia, who signed his first professional contract with United last summer, was an unused substitute.

The teenage centre-back was handed his full international debut during Poland's 1-1 draw against Italy on Saturday, playing the full game in Glasgow.

Poland's youngsters rounded off their Group A2 qualifying fixtures with a 3-0 loss against Scotland on Tuesday, with Epia completing the whole duration of the match.

Michael Mills and Roman Dowell

Forward Mills and goalkeeper Dowell have been named in the England Under-17s squad ahead of European Under-17 Championship fixtures against Faroe Islands, Israel and Estonia.

Liam Bramley's side, unable to reach this summer's finals in Estonia after their results in November's first qualifying round matches, claimed a 3-0 win against the Faroe Islands at St. George's Park on Wednesday, with Mills making his full debut at under-17 level.

Mills played the opening 65 minutes while Dowell, who hails from Hebburn, recorded his first international clean sheet after gaining two caps at under-17 level earlier this season.

The Young Lions suffered a 3-1 defeat against Israel on Saturday, with Dowell featuring in-between the sticks for the full 90 minutes while Mills, who signed his first professional contract with Newcastle on his 17th birthday, was introduced to the field in the 86th minute.

England's Under-17s concluded their camp with a 2-0 win Estonia at St. George's Park on Tuesday but Dowell and Mills were both unused substitutes.

Rory Finneran

Finneran has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-19s squad for their 2027 European Under-19 Championship qualifying fixtures.

The central midfielder, who captained his country at last year's Under-17 World Cup finals in Qatar, scored on his international debut at under-19 level during a 1-1 draw against Poland on Wednesday as well as wearing the captain's armband for the clash in Glasgow.

Tom Mohan's teenagers were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw against Scotland on Saturday, with Finneran completing the full duration of the game as well as being handed the captain's armband.

Ireland's youngsters were edged out in a 2-1 defeat against Italy on Tuesday evening but advanced into Round 2 League A after finishing as one of the top three sides in the group.

Finneran, once again, played the full game as well as captaining his country.

Park Seung-soo

The Asian teenager, who celebrated his 19th birthday last month, has been named in the South Korea Under-23s squad ahead of their friendly fixture against the United States.

The left winger, who joined the Magpies from Suwon Bluewings last summer, has been capped five times by his country at under-20 level.
