Anna Tamminen and Oona Sevenius

The United pair were both called up to the Finland squad for their Women's World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Portugal - and Sevenius made an immediate impact off the bench as they recorded a fine 4-0 win over the former on Friday.

The Magpies forward entered the fray just before the hour at the Štadión pod Zoborom in Nitra and barely two minutes later she found the net, making it 3-0 the Helmarit. Goalkeeper Tamminen, meanwhile, was an unused substitute.

Sevenius will hope she has done enough to start when Finland round off their Group B3 qualifying campaign against Portugal at the Tammelan Stadion in Tampere on Tuesday 9th June (kick-off 6pm BST).

Aoife Mannion and Emily Murphy

The Magpies duo were both called up by the Republic of Ireland this month, with Mannion playing the full 90 minutes in their dramatic 3-2 win over the Netherlands at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Friday.

Amber Barrett's last-gasp winner handed Carla Ward's side all three points in Cork after a frantic finale, which brought four goals in the final 20 minutes, and sparked joyous celebrations from those in green.

Murphy missed out on a place in the squad for the game, but the result means a win against France at Stade des Alpes in Grenoble on Tuesday 9 June (kick-off 8pm BST) will see the Republic of Ireland qualify automatically for the tournament in Brazil in 2027.

Lois Joel

Joel was named in the Wales squad for their FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers in June.

Rhian Wilkinson's side drew 1-1 with Montenegro in Podgorica on Friday, with the United midfielder an unused substitute, and will now face Czechia at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday 9th June (kick-off 6pm BST) in their final Group B1 fixture.

Cymru have secured a play-off place but seeding placements will depend on their final position in the group as they battle for top spot with Czechia. The draw for round one and two of the play-off stage will take place on Saturday 18th June.

Kaitlyn Torpey

Torpey was named in the Australia squad for their friendly double-header against Mexico, and started the first game at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle as the Matildas were beaten 1-0. She was withdrawn with six minutes remaining.

Australia will now take on the same opponents on Tuesday 9th June at the CommBank Stadium in Sydney (kick-off 7pm AEST).

Freya Gregory

The 23-year-old was called up to the Scotland squad for their Women's World Cup qualifying double-header against Israel, but didn't feature in their 6-0 win at the Bozsik Aréna in Budapest.

Scotland, who sit top of Group B4, are looking to continue their unbeaten qualification campaign as well as gaining promotion to League A of the UEFA Women's Nations League, and Melissa Andreatta's side will now face Israel again on Tuesday 9th June (kick-off 6pm BST).
