International Recap | Victory for France, draws for Belgium and Kosovo

Five national teams were represented by Juventus Men's First Team players on Friday, October 10, with France, Belgium and Kosovo all in World Cup qualification action, whilst Canada and the United States of America played in friendlies.

Edon Zhegrova came off the bench for Kosovo in their 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Slovenia, which ended 0-0. There was another 0-0 draw in the match between Belgium and North Macedonia, in which Lois Openda joined the action from the bench.

As for France, Khephren Thuram played the whole match as Les Bleus beat Azerbaijan 3-0, further strengthening their grip on World Cup Qualification Group D.

Jonathan David's Canada suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in a friendly match against Australia, which took place in Montreal, while the United States and Ecuador drew 1-1 in a friendly match in Austin, Texas, with Weston McKennie playing from the start and being substituted shortly after the hour mark.
