InterNationals: Carlos Augusto and Akanji featured | OneFootball

The second International Break of the Serie A 2025/26 season continues, seeing two Nerazzurri feature in matches on Friday 10 October.

Carlos Augusto came on in the final twenty minutes in Brazil's 5-0 win against South Korea. Estevao and Rodrigo both got braces, while Vinicius added to the scoreline. The Inter full-back came off of the bench in the 70th minute, replacing Douglas Santos.

Manuel Akanji's Switzerland also won as they defeated Sweden in their World Cup 2026 qualifier, solidifying first place in Group B. The Inter defender started and remained on the pitch for the whole game, which was decided by Xhaka's penalty and Manzambi's goal.
