The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in five league matches, drawing with Millwall and Leicester around wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Hull. Birmingham have one win in five, following victory against QPR with a draw versus Sheffield United before defeats to Derby and Blackburn.

The Tractor Boys are without Leif Davis through suspension, while David Button, Conor Townsend, Wesley Burns and Marcelino Núñez are sidelined. Birmingham list Kyogo Furuhashi, Kai Wagner, Lee Buchanan and Alexander William Cochrane among their absentees.

With 67 league goals, 56% possession and 14 clean sheets, the Tractor Boys may look to control the ball and feed Jack Clarke, who has 14 league goals, alongside Anis Mehmeti's threat on 10. Birmingham have delivered a high volume of open play crosses and own 10 headed goals, so supply from wide areas towards Marvin Ducksch, with Jay Stansfield providing six assists, could be a route.

A home win would take the Tractor Boys to 72 points and could tighten their grip on the play-off spots. Three points for Birmingham would move them to 56 and may lift them from 14th towards the top half.
