Ipswich Town want Laurienté, Sassuolo set €30m asking price | OneFootball

Sassuolo winger Armand Laurienté has received an approach from Ipswich Town, claim Sportitalia, after Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor interest.

The 27-year-old has been linked with an exit for several years now, but negotiations tend to reach an advanced stage and then fall apart at the final hurdle.

This summer alone, he was considered to be close to Besiktas, while fellow Turkish Super Lig sides Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor also showed an interest in his situation.

Now Sportitalia transfer expert Gianluigi Longari claims that Ipswich Town have made an approach to ask after Laurienté.

The attacking winger tends to play on the left, but can also work on the right or in a False 9 role.

It had been reported that Sassuolo set an asking price of circa €30m on the player.

He only recently extended his contract with Sassuolo, who he first joined in 2022 from FC Lorient for €10.1m plus add-ons.

Those bonuses include a 20 per cent cut of the profit made from any future sale.

The Frenchman has scored 38 goals in 141 games for Sassuolo, also providing 27 assists for his teammates.
