On Friday, Iranian media revealed a shocking situation involving Serge Aurier. Just weeks after signing with Persepolis FC, the Ivorian international was reportedly forced to step aside after contracting hepatitis B. “By virtue of a temporary order issued by the disciplinary committee of the Football Federation, Mr. Serge Aurier is banned from all football activities, including attending club training sessions, until further notice,” read a statement on the website of the Iranian Football Federation.

Furthermore, Iranian media even reported that Aurier had been placed in isolation. This prompted a response from the player himself on his Snapchat account. “Well, I’m here at training.
