Andoni Iraola is very attracted to Crystal Palace’s sporting project, and has been offered a very willing to accept the Eagles’ financial offer according to reports.

The Spaniard, who will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, is also thought to be one of the leading candidates for the Chelsea job.

The Blues are once again looking for another head coach having sacked Liam Rosenior last month, with the 41-year-old lasting less than four months in the job.

There’s thought to be seven or eight names under consideration, with Iraola joined by Marco Silva and Xabi Alonso on Chelsea’s early shortlist.

Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Iraola’s agent, although it’s believed he’d need convincing to take the job.

Iraola has also been linked with Manchester United, whilst Crystal Palace would also like to appoint the 43-year-old.

It’s a real show of intent by the Eagles, and journalist Matteo Moretto has provided an update on their pursuit of Iraola.

He took to X.com and said:

“Iraola is very attracted to Crystal Palace’s sporting project.

“The English club’s financial offer is considerable: the coach seems very willing to accept it.”
