Iraola to leave Bournemouth this summer as Premier and LaLiga options emerge | OneFootball

According to as.com, Andoni Iraola has informed Bournemouth he will not continue once his contract expires this summer. He views his spell as a successful cycle and wants to explore new options amid an active European market.

The next step will depend on timing, but four major Premier League clubs and two in LaLiga are currently on the table. The Spanish options are Villarreal and Athletic, where changes are expected, and Athletic have confirmed Valverde will not stay.

Terzic is the leading, already advanced choice for Athletic, yet Iraola, a homegrown favourite, remains highly regarded and could coach at San Mamés in future. Villarreal wanted him before Marcelino arrived, and with the Asturian seemingly leaving, Iraola has re-emerged as an alternative.

The Premier League looks the most open. Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool will open their doors at season’s end, with Iraola in the frame.
