According to L'Équipe, Zinédine Zidane, the new France head coach, declined to dwell on his team’s future style.

Even so, he projected the image of a manager who favours attacking football.

At the Fédération Française de Football headquarters auditorium, his friend and adviser of more than 25 years, Jacques Bungert, captured the moment.

The communications figure, seated alongside Alain Alain Migliaccio, Zidane’s agent, had prepared Tuesday’s media appearance.

On 16 March 2019, he was still on the Real Madrid bench.
