Isa Viana leaves Sereias da Vila after contract was rescinded | OneFootball

Isa Viana has left Sereias da Vila after her contract was rescinded, despite being signed until December. The termination was recorded in the BID on 27 April.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the forward recently turned 21 and aged out of the youth teams, and the women’s football department felt she was not performing and would not have space in the senior squad. The club reached an agreement with her representatives to end the deal.

In a social media post, she called it the end of a cycle, said it hurt to write, and expressed gratitude to those who gave her chances. Viana added that she had wanted to stay, spoke of faith, and signed off by thanking Santos.

Isabelly Viana emerged as a highly rated academy goalscorer but later lost space and offered little return in recent outings. Born in Osasco, São Paulo, she has been at the club since 2019 and first played at Santos’s Barueri school aged eight. Two years after arriving, she was called up by the Under-17 national team.

She debuted for the first team in June 2023, replacing Cristiane in the 21st minute of the second half during a 4-0 win over EC São Bernardo at Bruno José Daniel in the seventh round of the Paulista Feminino. Her opportunities dwindled thereafter.
