Law student and Vasco devotee Isaque Neube has become a social media sensation mixing history, music and sport. According to Globo.com, he often tells his parents he is not involved in whatever the world is talking about.
He has about 600,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, but rejects the comedian label. Viral clips show him singing jazz, bossa nova or the Vasco anthem, even waking his parents to deny any role in the fall of Constantinople.
He once eyed astronomy, medicine, economics and urbanism, hoping to bury Brazil’s overhead cables. Now he calls himself a student of social and legal sciences, a jazz enthusiast and a communicator, and reads widely from pop culture to history.
Long captions are his calling card, a place to state who he is. He says he lives with sickle cell disease type SC and is the son of a mechanic and a thrift shop owner.
His mother, Cristina, recalls a gifted child who outpaced lessons at largely public schools, spending two years in private school. His father, Francisco, lost his mother at four, left a violent home in Fortaleza and rebuilt life in São Paulo, discovering Vasco watching Roberto Dinamite and finding refuge in religion.
The 22-year-old was moved by the recent Copa do Brasil final against Corinthians, saying Vasco taught him fidelity, loyalty and resilience. He manages treatment, mourns his brother Felipe who died of dengue haemorrhagic fever, and began a law internship on 30 October 2025, 18 years after his brother’s burial.
