Isi Palazón hit with seven-match LaLiga ban for “eres un sinvergüenza” outburst | OneFootball

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that the RFEF disciplinary committee has banned Rayo Vallecano’s Isi Palazón for seven LaLiga matches after incidents in the game against Real Sociedad.

The fixture, on Sunday 26 April in matchday 32, finished 3-3.

He was sent off for entering the pitch to protest a decision, then told the referee “eres un sinvergüenza” and pointed at him.

The suspension comprises one match for yellow-card accumulation, two for protesting and four for the insult.

The domestic ban does not affect the Conference League, so he can feature in the semi-finals against Strasbourg.

The first leg is on Thursday at Vallecas, kick-off 21.00.
