Ismaël Bennacer is in advanced talks to join Al-Gharafa SC in Qatar, with a move described as close.

According to L'Équipe, the Algeria international, 28, could be released from the final year of his contract with the Rossoneri to facilitate the switch.

The Algeria midfielder, capped 56 times, spent last season on loan at Dinamo Zagreb from AC Milan.

That spell followed a previous loan at Marseille.

If completed, the deal would take Bennacer from Croatia to the Stars League, Qatar's top flight, where he would sign for Al-Gharafa SC.
