Ismael Saibari set for MRI before France v Morocco quarter-final | OneFootball

New Bayern Munich signing Ismael Saibari is set to undergo an MRI ahead of Morocco’s World Cup quarter-final against France, and is a major doubt though not yet ruled out.

According to BuLi News, the 25-year-old is travelling with the Moroccan squad to Boston and will have the scan on Monday to assess whether he can feature.

He scored in each of Morocco’s group-stage matches.

He then converted the winning penalty in their round of 32 shootout victory over the Netherlands.

The midfielder was forced off in the first half with a hamstring injury during the 3-0 round of 16 win over Canada.

The quarter-final kicks off on Thursday at 22:00 CEST.
