One record-breaking Liverpool attacker is now likely to leave the club.

So much change is happening at Anfield this summer. It feels like everyone is leaving.

We've already said goodbye to Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate. Literally, three of the most crucial elements of Arne Slot's Premier League title winning squad.

And we are barely at the start of the transfer window. Who knows what the future holds for Joe Gomez, or Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister.

The latter two are both rumoured to be potentially of interest among European and Premier League clubs.

There's talk that Cody Gakpo is also going to be on the radar of Tottenham and Liverpool are open to a sale of the Dutch forward.

So, this could mean by the end of the summer we could be without Mac Allister, Salah, Robertson, Konate, Jones and even Gomes.

Before there's talk of Wataru Endo, Stefan Bajcetic, Federico Chiesa and Kostas Tsimikas, who are also all on the periphery and potentially open to a move.

The question is just, what will Liverpool do then?

What's the plan to replace all of these players? Will there be many signings or will Andoni Iraola have to dip into the academy?

These are all unanswered questions at the moment. What we do know is that there's a host of changes being made at academy level as well.

There's a strong chance a lot of players could be moving on. Some of them have already been released, including Oakley Cannonier, who not too long ago was the U18s top-scorer during one season.

Another player who has suffered similar fate to Cannonier but who hasn't been released is Kaide Gordon.

He joined Liverpool back in January 2021, and has been at the club for five years. Initially when he joined Liverpool there were high hopes for the former Derby County man.

Gordon arrived widely being recognised as the best teenager in the country and he blew away Jurgen Klopp and his staff with his performances in training.

So much so that Gordon actually became the youngest goal-scorer in the club's history in the FA Cup at just 17 years and three months old back in January of 2022.

Unfortunately injuries have ravaged his career.
