Anna Csiki is looking to build on a productive first few months at the Club.
Joining from BK Hacken in the summer, the midfielder has made three appearances in the Barclays Women’s Super League alongside featuring in seven other matchday squads during the first half of the campaign.
The Hungary international also featured in all three of our Women’s League Cup group phase fixtures as we progressed to the quarter-final of the competition for a fourth consecutive season.
With plenty of minutes under her belt in the opening months, Anna has described her time in Lilywhite as a ‘learning experience’ but one she has relished so far.
“It has been such a fun few months at the Club", she told us. “It has been so exciting to be a part of this league, being part of this group of girls and just to be part of this amazing football Club.
“Everyone has been so welcoming and it actually feels like I have been here for so much longer, now I’m already looking forward to the next half of the season."
When asked about what she has learnt in the opening months of the campaign, she added: “Everything has been a learning experience for me, it’s a completely different league with different type of players.
“The league is definitely a lot more competitive than what I was used to, a lot more faster, physical and technical.
“So, it has been a learning process and I feel like I’m on the right track, getting the right help from the staff group and the players. I’m really happy and pleased to be here.”
