Chelsea have drawn with Leeds at home, a frustrating result having been 2-0 up. Despite that, there were lots of positives – for one the crowing understanding between Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer.
Palmer assisted JP for the opener, and the Brazilian then returned the favour in the second half.

In the post game presser, Rosenior was asked about a developing chemistry between them. But instead of agreeing, as usual Rosenior decided to spread the praise a little more widely:
“Yeah, well, it wasn’t just those two. Enzo [Fernandez], Estevao [Willian], Andrey [Santos] and Moi [Caicedo] in midfield. Malo Gusto’s runs from the back line. Pedro Neto is combining with Malo in the second half and Moi,” Rosenior said.
“I want them all to connect and combine. That’s the way that we, that’s the way I want to play. First half, some of the moments were really enjoyable to watch. It’s so frustrating that I’m not speaking about that more because we should have three points in our pocket and be speaking about all the positives from that performance.”
Rosenior also spoke about Joao Pedro, and was able to be a lot more positive about the striker, who he said was a “top player” and perfect for his style of play. The Brazilian certainly has been superb in the last month, and seems to love playing under the new manager.
Before this press conference, Rosenior had spoken to TNT Sport in a pretty similar fashion. There he lamented the lack of concentration in a short period which led to Leeds coming from what looked a pretty hopeless 2-0 to make it 2-2. It’s the first time we’ve really heard him get angry, such has been the success of the start of his Chelsea reign.
