‘It will be very difficult’ – Real Madrid’s Álvaro Arbeloa on potentially facing Bayern Munich | OneFootball

Unless Atalanta overturn a six goal deficit, Bayern Munich will play Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final after the Spanish outfit knocked Manchester City out on Tuesday night.

Real will play Bayern – should they progress against Atalanta – in early and mid-April. Praising their German counterparts, Álvaro Arbeloa said: “Bayern are among the most in-form teams in Europe,” particularly praising their “style of play” and “level.”

Beating Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate, Arbeola expects a game against Bayern will be “just as difficult,” adding: “It will be very difficult, especially with the second leg in Munich.”
